Vietnam Study
Building on a successful pilot implementation for Ho Chi Minh City in 2017, led by the Institute of Computational Science and Technology in Vietnam, Yayasan Peta Bencana has been working with researchers, software engineers, and designers in Vietnam to implement a full deployment.
This effort involves enhancing the platform’s capabilities to support real-time, crowd-sourced disaster information sharing, ensuring seamless integration with Vietnam’s existing disaster response infrastructure. Through close partnerships with government agencies, humanitarian organizations, and local communities, the deployment aims to improve situational awareness, strengthen coordination during emergencies, and empower residents with critical, life-saving information.
